I just wanted to inform you that our school has recently installed a weather station on the roof. The weather data gathered is transmitted to a website http://www.weatherlink.com/user/bobcats/. This allows us to make more accurate decisions regarding inside/outside recess days here at school. You may want to bookmark this site for future reference.
Remember that we will have "Inside Days" if precipitation is problematic or if the temperature is below 23 degrees. Keep in mind that we do take into consideration the wind chill, by referring to the "Feels Like" temperature reading. Be advised that we also look at Air Quality. See below for those guidelines.
The orange flags posted on the exterior of the school indicate to the students that it is an inside morning and they should enter the building through the front doors unless they are in a portable.
