Principal's Corner

Dear Parents and Students,

My name is Shelly Davis and I have had the honor of being principal at Butterfield Canyon Elementary since it opened its doors in 2006. I have been in education for 28 years. I have taught and been in administration in both elementary and secondary settings. I believe that my past experiences have afforded me a broad knowledge regarding the educational process. I have a strong, unwavering belief in the children of today. They are bright, energetic, and optimistic young people. They will build an amazing world in the days to come! I couldn’t imagine being in another profession that is more fulfilling. Each day offers challenges, excitement, rewards, and lots of hugs from beautiful children ~ ~ where else would one be able to stake that claim?!

Thank you for making Butterfield Canyon your school of choice and for entrusting us with your children.

You can e-mail me at shelly.davis@jordan.k12.ut.us, call me at 801-254-0737, or call our head secretary Connie to make an appointment.
